Religious Education

The Religious Education learning area follows the sequential K-12 Religious Education Guidelines of the Archdiocese of Perth. It is based on the readiness of the child and emphasises the integration of Faith and Life.

Making Jesus Real (MJR)

MJR is a program designed to foster a relationship with Jesus that is real to the students and relevant to their daily lives. It encourages us to be givers, do our best, treat others fairly, and be responsible for our actions. It also teaches us to stand up for the rights of others and express gratitude.

MJR is a powerful way to live a life that is both meaningful and fulfilling.

Sacramental Program

St Joseph’s School is part of the St John the Baptist Parish, Moora. The Sacramental program is family focused, parish-based and school supported.

Children participate in Sacramental programs in Year Three (Reconciliation), Year Four (Eucharist) and Year Six (Confirmation).

Parents, as the first and most important educators of their children, are an integral part of this preparation and are encouraged to assist. Children must be baptised prior to receiving a Sacrament.

Please see the Principal or Fr Simeon (Ph 9651 1054) for further information.
